We regret to inform our customers that from Thursday 5th of November, we are temporarily closing the doors of each of our furniture showrooms across the UK

In order to adhere to the government's latest guidance and to help reduce the spread of the virus, our showrooms will continue to comply with lockdown restrictions and therefore will remain closed until December 2nd.

This is not a decision we take lightly at Delcor, but our number one priority remains the safety of each of our Delcor customers, employees and the wider community. COVID-19 is a dangerous situation we continue to face and we urge each of our customers to keep safe and comply with the government’s latest restrictions to ensure everyone’s safety until we can welcome you back into our stores.

Until then, rest assured, our talented team of craftsmen and women at our Northumberland mill will continue to create your bespoke furniture orders. Although it’s unfortunate that our clients aren’t able to order with us in person, our specialist team are still at-hand and able to process any existing orders and take new custom orders, either over the phone or online.

In the meantime, from each of us at Delcor, we’re grateful for your continued support and patience and thank you for helping us to protect lives and livelihoods. We look forward to welcoming you back into our showrooms when it’s completely safe to do so.

Why are you temporarily closing?

We’re temporarily closing each of our showrooms to comply with the government’s latest restrictions and to keep our customers and the wider community as safe as possible. We’re very sad to do this, but it’s ultimately the best way to control the spread of the virus and keep our clients and employees safe. We will close temporarily from the 5th of November to the 2nd of December. In the meantime, we’re still taking and processing orders either over the phone or through the Delcor website. 

How long do you expect your shops to be closed for?

We’re expecting a four-week national lockdown, which means that we’ll be looking to re-open our showroom doors on the 2nd of December. However, if this period extends, then we will continue to follow the advice from the government and remain closed. We’ll continue to keep you informed as and when the situation progresses.

Has there been any Coronavirus incidents to date which have influenced this closure?

No. Each of our staff across our showroom locations have adhered to the necessary precautions and we have not had any incidents of coronavirus within any of our locations, offices or factory. We’re temporarily closing our showroom doors as an advised precaution to adhere to the government’s latest restrictions to protect the safety and wellbeing of our clients and staff. 

I have a current order with you – will I still receive my furniture?

Absolutely. 

Please note that our signature Northumberland mill and talented craftsman and women are still hard at work processing any existing orders. While timescales may differ to what was originally quoted, our team remains hard at work and will contact clients with any proposed changes should there be any. 

We’re also still accepting custom furniture orders - simply give one of our friendly furniture specialists a call to discuss your furniture specifications, or order your custom furniture online across the Delcor website. 

When will you update me regarding my order?

Yes. A member of our team will contact each of our customers to bring clarity on the situation and notify clients of any expected delays if a situation should arise.
